👉 The event is named after a spider-like graphical tool used for the Morse code.
❓ The website is full of terms like Event, Mega Event, Block Party or Geocaching. What are they?
👉 These terms belong to the world-wide game called Geocaching. It’s something between sports and tourism, the main goal is to find hidden stashes using geographical coordinates. The stashes are called geocaches, while Events and Megaevents are player gatherings.
This website is primarily dedicated to the 25th anniversary of geocaching, however, all people who like cipher-solving are more than welcome.

On Saturday’s Block Party, you can expect a playful introduction to different cipher types rather than long solving sessions.
❓ What is the Badge Hunt game?
👉 During the weekend you’ll complete tasks to earn virtual badges. The more badges you collect, the higher your chance to win prizes. We’ll reward the best players and also draw prizes among all participants.
❓ How to prepare for Badge Hunt?
👉 A few days before the event we’ll publish full rules and task list. Some tasks can be prepared in advance. On-site, you’ll make a badge (button) with your pre-set nickname.

❓ Will there be themed refreshments?
👉 Yes – throughout Saturday you’ll be able to roast sausages over the fire, a true campfire classic. They come from a small Czech producer and we’ve already tested them at our June event – really tasty! 🍖

❓ Can I still order souvenirs?
👉 Some items are closing soon – T-shirts are already in production, more (CWGs, license plate frames, stickers) will follow. Others are final stock and won’t be reprinted – for example, only 2 pieces of the Black Nickel geocoin remain.

❓ How do I get to the event site?
👉 Best by public transport – stops Ústav akademie věd and Zelené domky, or metro to Chodov/Roztyly and a short forest walk.
By car it’s not possible to drive directly to the site (no entry). Please park nearby (small car parks, housing estates) and walk the rest. There is no central parking.
❓ Will new caches be published during the weekend?
👉 Yes! We’ve prepared several new caches – biltema may come in handy. And of course, adventure labs will also be available.
❓ How can I support the event?
👉 Invite your friends, share the news, or support us by purchasing souvenirs on the e-shop or on-site. There will also be a raffle with valuable prizes (e.g. geocoins or premium membership for one year).
❓ What about payments on-site?
👉 Food & drinks: cash or card. Souvenirs and raffle: cash or quick QR payment. Payments in euros are possible, but change will be given in Czech crowns.
